Training for Teams:

Understanding Personalities at Work

When individuals in a team have a shared language around personality differences, strengths and weaknesses they are more likely to draw on each other’s complimentary skills and ways of working. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is an ideal tool to assist teams to build improved understanding of themselves individually, and how best to interact, communicate and appreciate differences with other team members and customers. Half day and full day training offer robust interactive experiences to maximise learning outcomes. Assessments are completed online and feedback given prior to the training or are given manually as part of the training. Our training is designed to suit the needs of the team and their organisation.

This training can be a quick 1.5hr overview or a longer and deeper process to really help employees develop the resilience and career clarity required. Training is based on current career development theories which place the emphasis on personal responsibility and personal development with the aim to improving work engagement and performance.

Managing Change and Uncertainty:

Workplaces are transforming the way they do business. The impacts of disruption on the way we work and how we interact with colleagues can test us personally and interpersonally. Organisations are realising that it is not only helpful to discuss resilience but to also encourage and grow psychological flexibility in their people.

This training can offer 1.5hr overview or a longer and deeper process to really help employees develop the resilience and agility managers are asking for in their employees. The training is based on developing psychological flexibility theory using the ACT (Acceptance Commitment Training) model to help employees to accept the situation and make a commitment to practicing strategies that work. Like all our training, the emphasis is on personal responsibility and personal development.

Career Planning for Older Workers:

These days, since there is no mandatory retirement age we are working longer, and managing our late career transitions are more complex. This means that older workers need to plan and build greater collaboration with their managers so that they continue to learn new skills, continue to make a contribution and create lifestyles that support well-being.

Two workshops are offered;

  1. A half day training that emphasises taking personal responsibility for managing a late-career transition and provides simple tools to evaluate and plan towards greater lifestyle balance.
  2. A full day training that offers a comprehensive process from which participants can evaluate the status of their career and assess their current motivators. participants will create some clear objectives for their late-career transition towards improved contribution and a satisfying lifestyle.

A note to say thank you for the workshop on Saturday as part of Arts Regional Trust | Te Taumata Toi-a-iwi; ART Venture programme. It was fabulous to work with you again. I particularly enjoyed and appreciated how you interlaced the MBTI information with personal anecdotes in an open and empathetic way to our situation and the group. Thank you again for the great workshop and resources. I for one went away with lots bouncing around in my head and reflecting deeply on some of the topics discussed. Service Delivery Manager

Many thanks for the additional information.  I found the workshop great and very enlightening for me. It provided me with confidence to work with clients in other ways – and when in the grief process. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Employment Consultant, Blind Foundation.
