Career Development Consultant, Auckland. Career Coach and Workshop Facilitator
Sam is a qualified Career Consultant with 12 years’ experience in Individual Coaching and Workshop Facilitation both within Education and for Change and Career consultancies. Having started out in marketing in the corporate sector, and realising that her core values were not being met, Sam then followed an eclectic and highly rewarding career journey, training in Neuro Developmental Therapy, through yoga teaching, and then finally landing on Career Consultancy, which brought a myriad of experiences and values together. She has always enjoyed working to support others through change and transition towards a more positive, fulfilling future.
Whether supporting people undergoing change such as redundancy that was not of their choosing, facilitating workshops covering career related subjects along with dealing with uncertainty and building resilience, to working one on one to help individuals find a path to more satisfying work with a better ‘fit’ for who they really are, she works respectfully and professionally to get to the heart of a person’s thinking or situation to help them craft a brighter future. With a love of learning and ongoing interest in Careers and Wellbeing she embraces the more formal professional development learning, and listens to a variety of podcasts, takes the occasional Coursera course and reads avidly to continue adding depth to her practice.
